The Grand Hotel offered a lovely stay with a stunning sea view and friendly staff making me feel welcomed. Breakfast was hearty, though I noticed a few areas needing updates, yet that didn't overshadow my overall enjoyment. Looking forward to another relaxing visit soon!

Nice views but room needs work
We spent one night here and the location is really nice with great views of the bay. The bar area is comfy for drinks, but the room was kinda outdated with no air-con, just a fan. Breakfast was decent but overall felt too pricey for what we got. Staff were friendly, though! Could use better cleaning service.

I had a sea view room that was absolutely stunning, and the bathroom was a dream with both a bath and shower! The relaxation options were fantastic, with a lovely outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace to unwind. Just a heads up, I wish the carpets in the rooms could use a little more care, but it didn't take away from my great experience. 😊

We absolutely loved our stay! The coastal walks nearby were stunning, and our room with the sea view made our mornings magical. The pool was refreshing, and the staff were incredibly accommodating—we especially appreciated their hospitality during our high tea experience on the terrace.
In my wife's opinion, more kid-friendly menu options would be great.

Couple looking for a charming getaway
They had doggie treats waiting for our pups, and the bottle of wine was a nice touch too. The outside pool area was perfect. We had drinks on the terrace with our dogs and decided to stay an extra night because it was just that good.
Wasn't exactly budget-friendly, but still okay.

I stayed in a Standard Seaview Double room for 4 nights and it was nice. The room was large and pretty comfortable, even if it felt a bit tired. Super bright and had a great view! Loved that it opened onto a balcony. The location was a win too, right by the sea and train station. Housekeeping was on point, really helpful. Just a bit more room upkeep would have made it perfect. But overall, solid stay!

Enjoyed the stunning bar area and outdoor pool during my stay. The complimentary room upgrade was a fantastic surprise!
The compact room felt a bit dated.

The swimming pool facilities were impressive and provided a great way to unwind. Every morning, the breakfast spread was delightful, offering an extensive selection. One standout was the toasted bread, which perfectly complemented the meal. while the room was clean and comfortable, it lacked some basic amenities that would have enhanced my experience, such as extra pillows and a clearer shower setting. some areas of the hotel could benefit from better soundproofing, as I could hear noise from the corridors at times.

The hotel’s grand Victorian charm made me feel like I had stepped into a lovely period film, with stunning architecture and elegant interiors that were accessible and inviting for everyone, particularly seniors like myself.
More attention to cleanliness needed.
